Asus is coming out with a hardcore Honeycomb tablet, ASUS TOUGH ETBW11AA.



It is a 7-inch water proof, dust proof and drop proof* tablet that run on Android 3.2. This ASUS TOUGH plans to release to the tablet on the Japanese mobile network KDDI.

The rugged look was tested it sturdiness by drop it from 76cm height on concrete surface. That is really tough!


The thick size of tablet featured not the least of what the current tablets available in the market;

  • 7-inch touchscreen with 1280×800 pixel resolution

The thick and rugged design rumored to have 620grams of weigh and a juicy 7,00 mAh battery pack.


Does the protective package compensate this bulky and heavy tablet? No price released but will be expected to hit Japan this coming November.
