Panasonic has a great reputation for its military standard laptops, Toughbook and now they are extending that reputation to their new tablet segment, Toughpad. A great rival to ASUS TOUGH ETBW11AA which withstand water, dust and drop Honeycomb tablet.

Panansonic introduced 10" TOUGHPAD A1 and 7" TOUCHPAD B1.

It'll withstand a 4-foot drop, temperature between 14-220 degree F and water & dirt resistant. That is one hell of tablet I would say.

10" TOUCHPAD A1 features 10.1-inch XGA LED 1024 x 768 res screen with multi touch + digitizer & daylight-readable screen. It has a 1.2GHz Dual-core processor embedded hardware security, 1GB RAM, 16GB internal storage and run on Android 3.2 Honeycomb.

On the connectivities side, it has micro-USB 2.0, microSDHC & HDMI micro. 2MP front camear and 5MP rear camera with auto focus and LED flash light.

Will be expected 4G (WiMax, LTE) or 3G mobile broadband available it as an optional, GPS & Bluetooth are comes in standard.

As for the 7" TOUGHPAD B1, there is no release sheet of the specification, it will be expected similar specification with its 10-inch brother.
