Nokia has rolled out a major software update for the Nokia N9, version 20.2011.40-4. The update is released by country regions, some country may no receive the update.

The update is 218.6 MB in size and can be done OTA (FOTA).


The new firmware brings new features, improved multitasking and updates of the application.

  • Fixed Facebook client's bugs

If you did not receive the notification for update, you can check for it manually by going to Settings > Applications > Manage Applications > Update and check for updates manually.

Make sure you have a fast and stable WiFi connection before you hit the download, the installation and update may take awhile. So be patient.
